About Janina
Janina Laszlo is a Munich-based visual creator working at the intersection of photography, artistic storytelling, and contemporary visual expression. What began as an early fascination with light and fleeting moments has developed into a practice shaped by precision, presence, and restraint.
After completing her BA in Photography at Munich’s historic photography school (founded 1900), she expanded her visual language through long-term projects and stays in Los Angeles, China, and New Zealand. Rather than following a single genre, her work moves fluidly between portraiture, editorial, documentary, interior, and travel photography, guided by authentic engagement and a calm, intuitive visual language.
Alongside commissioned work for brands, agencies, and editorial clients, Janina develops personal art projects — most notably the UNITY series, an AI-informed exploration of the evolving relationship between people and nature. Represented internationally by Sonja Heintschel Photographers & More, her images are known for their clarity, contemporary sensibility, and strong focus on character.
For Janina, photography and art are tools for translating atmosphere and emotion into considered visuals. Her work speaks to design-minded audiences who value craft, minimalism, and see art as an extension of identity and space.
